HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS
PROPORTIONAL VALVES
A proportional valve provides a change in output pressure or flow in the same ratio as the change in the input, for example if the input doubles then the output will also double.
PRESSURE CONTROL VALVES
Pressure-control valves are found in virtually every hydraulic system, and they assist in a variety of functions, from keeping system pressures safely below a desired upper limit to maintaining a set pressure in part of a circuit. Types include relief, reducing, sequence, counterbalance, and unloading.
FLOW CONTROL VALVES
Flow-control valves include simple orifices and sophisticated closed-loop electrohydraulic valves that automatically adjust to variations in pressure and temperature.
DIRECTIONAL VALVES

Check valves are the simplest form of hydraulic devices in that they permit free oil flow in one direction and block oil flow in the opposite direction.
